The Staff Selection Commission – Central Region (SSC-CR) is one of the regional offices of the Staff Selection Commission, Government of India. Headquartered at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, SSC-CR caters to candidates from the Central Region states, primarily Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, which together constitute one of the largest pools of applicants for the Commission’s examinations across the country.
